In honor of Mrs. Close’s birthday and her devotion to feeding the hungry, Second Harvest is once again doing a food distribution for our grantees. All these organizations have a large impact, are sustainable, and serve their communities with passion and care. This falls directly in line with our mission to serve the residents of Chester, Lancaster, and York counties by providing grants to 501c3s that provide basic needs of food, shelter, and medical emergency assistance and early childhood initiatives.
